Chas Zabava's focus is bringing together Ukrainian youth to celebrate together and support their community.

Bykvy, meaning letters in Ukrainian, is a bold display font. Its focus is to capture the traditional style of old Cyrillic letter, specifically from the slavic Ukrainian region, through a modern lens. Bykvy uses strong vertical strokes, angular curves, sharp edges and subtle serifs. The typeface was created for both basic latin and Cyrillic letters.

UYA is a non-profit organization that brings together both Ukrainian and Canadian born communities and creates a place where the values, traditions and language of Ukraine is taught and celebrated.

This initiative was started by a group of Ukrainian Youth during the beginning staged of the war in Ukraine. The project was created to help raise both awareness and money for Ukraine. The following illustrations were created and sold with 100% of the profits donated to Ukraine.

This personal project focused on developing and practicing digital illustration in the form of greeting cards.

The TFM is a fictional project that focuses on reconnecting the working people of Toronto with food through sustainable local and healthy meals. The market features 6 local restaurants. who source their produce from Canadian farmers.
